Loop has a new name and a new home. This page covers what changed, what did not, and what it means for you.
The names and addresses
Loop Wallet now lives at wallet.looptech.io.
Lighthouse is now called Loop Data, at data.looptech.io.
cantonloop.com is not being switched off and it is not being redirected. Both sites run side by side, so your bookmarks still reach us on the day the new site opens. Once the move prompt has appeared there you have fifteen days of normal use, and after that cantonloop.com is only for moving your wallet across.
Nothing about your wallet changed
Same product, same team, same wallet. Your funds are where you left them, your address is the same, and your transaction history is the same.
The rebrand changed our name and our web address. It did not touch the network your funds sit on.
Why your wallet looks different
The wallet has a new design. It covers the Dashboard, token details, sending, receiving and CC bulk transfers, the app signature flow, Top Up, History, Swap, Settings and Discover.
Only the design changed. Your balances, your addresses and your history are exactly as they were. If something looks like it is in the wrong place or does not work, tell us and we will get it looked at.
Where did Offers go?
Offers is now called Requests. It is the same screen and the same feature, in the same place in your wallet. Only the name changed.
Do my connected apps still work?
Yes. Moving your wallet does not disconnect anything and there is nothing to authorise again. A connection belongs to your wallet on the network, in the same way your balance does, and moving does not change your wallet.
What about Lighthouse?
Lighthouse is now Loop Data. Your API key, your plan and your data are unchanged, and existing endpoints keep working.
If you use the API, nothing is required from you on the day. We will say so here and in your channel if that ever changes.
Do I have to do anything?
Not today. cantonloop.com works exactly as before.
When you are ready to move your wallet to the new site, you start it yourself from inside your wallet. There is a separate article that walks through it step by step, including the fifteen days you have once the move prompt appears.
I do not have a wallet yet
Then none of the above applies to you. New wallets are opened at wallet.looptech.io, and there is nothing to move.
How do I know this is real?
Checking is the right instinct, because a rebrand is exactly the moment scammers wait for.
Here is the one rule that protects you. Moving starts inside your own wallet, after you log in at cantonloop.com yourself. That is the only way in.
Only ever enter your private key at wallet.looptech.io. Loop will never ask for it by email, by chat, or on any other site.
We will never send you a migration link, by email, by direct message or in a post. We will never ask for your private key, your password, or a verification code. We will never ask you to move your funds somewhere to keep them safe.
If anyone does any of those things, it is not us.
Still have a question?
Contact us here. We would much rather answer the same question fifty times than watch one person lose a wallet.
